Does Smoking Weed Mess With Ulcers

Arcade Fire: The New Drug of Choice!

I have to put in context. The album The Suburbs of Arcade Fire appeared since its release on August 3, 1 in my top album of the year. I am happy to attribute much of Merit the current situation whereby rock size-independent Quebec is progressively spot on the world music scene. Whether or not you are a fan of Arcade Fire, we must admit they are great actors in this play!

We did not expect much of Arcade Fire at the Grammy gala. Is that at the awards ceremony off the air, the training was to plucked twice by the group The Black Keys, who won in the category "Best Alternative Album and Best Performance rock by a group or duo.

Around 23 hours at the 53 th Grammy Awards ceremony that madness has begun for the formation of Win Butler and Regine Chassagne, the two leaders of the group. Shortly after offering to provide the extract Month of May at the gala, Arcade Fire outweighed the consecration of the "best album of the year," one of the most prestigious awards of the evening. Nothing short of a feat for this musical collective was measured by independent artists of the highest commercial value, including Lady Gaga and Katy Perry .

few days after winning this illustrious prize, went out of Arcade Fire Brit Awards with a precious pair of statuettes in hand. They won this time the words "International Group of the Year, beating among others, Black Eyed Peas , Kings of Leon and Vampire Weekend . A little later, the album The Suburbs downgrading again that of Eminem, Katy Perry, Kings of Leon in category "International Album of the Year." Phew!

Training capped this week with its first Outstanding Middle film at the Berlin Film Festival . Scenes from the Suburbs is a 28-minute work performed by American Spike Jonze, inspired the album The Suburbs. The film depicts the story of a group of teenagers who wanders into a suburb apparently in a state of war. This clip is nearly six minutes from this film by:

The Suburbs So, what is it? This is the third album by training, a real delight exploring musical pieces at once thoughtful and unifying. Adding the first synthesizers to their orchestral music, Arcade Fire always keeps its depth and relevance typical. The precious commodity that continues to reinvent each time the world of independent rock.

Yes, Arcade Fire, it's pure genius! Hope that Canada and Quebec will be emphasized adequately in the upcoming Juno Awards and neighbor 's gala ADISQ ...

I leave you my heart to suddenly put in your ears:

Ciccone and femininity New

Knowing several people who have been or are affected by this carrion, cancer I think is the reality of all. Everyone knows someone near and far, who have or had this disease? According to the incidence rate of 2009, nearly 40% of Canadian women and 45% of Canadians will develop cancer during their lifetime. Some are doing, some not ...

Breast cancer is a form of cancer most common among Canadian women. In 2010, one in nine women may have breast cancer during her lifetime. One woman in 28 will die.

Nicola, through its ballads, deals subtly with the disease "Femininity" and "The words we are afraid to hear" from her new album "Imagination". It tells the story of a woman who receives a diagnosis of cancer, inspired by the story of her friend. Instead of seeing this event as inevitable, it has transformed into an engine, something that allowed him to conceive of life as a succession of steps that we can win!

"These songs pay tribute to all those who fight and those around them. "
Nicola Ciccone

His" Imaginary "is summed up in two parts. A social component in dealing with immigration and cancer and a romantic component, with titles as "I Love You not j't'adore" and "L'amore ancora withstanding," Italian version of the song by Luc Plamondon and Richard Cocciante.

"You love me anyway," opening song of the compact, seems to be following "short I Love You," about love unreservedly, unconditionally, without artifice , as do the young idealists with their loves. In its new form, we find the story of one man, but a few years later.

After six albums, thousands of copies sold, several songs at the top of the charts and numerous performances of his performances throughout Quebec, Nicola Ciccone we will sing the emotion to its climax in our VoiceFest, Thursday, June 30!

I leave you with a bit of sunshine to put in your ears:
